The reason I chose the rent2buy scheme was because it was the only possible way i could afford to finance my own home with house prices being the way they are the past couple of years. It is an excellent way to get on the property ladder; without the added pressure that goes with purchasing a property.
 
One can live in the property whilst getting a deposit together to purchase the house; as an excellent percentage of the rent one pays goes off the deposit of the house!!! I found the rent2buy team fantastic to deal with, they were always more than happy to deal with any questions or enquiries i had prior to actually finding and moving into my new home! They done everything they possibly could for me, so all i really had to do was move in!!
 
I got the keys to my new home on the exact date i was told, which was great!! The whole process took only about 6/7 months..... From the day i registered with the scheme to moving into my new home!

I have been looking for over a year, not just for the right house but for the right house that is value for money.  I can't loose with this, if house prices drop and I decide not to buy the house, I just loose what rent I have paid which I would have lost anyway if I was just renting.  I have the security of knowing what my house price will be in 3 years, what my rent will be for 3 years and if I don't like it I can just leave it.  And it is a beautiful house also.
