Rent2Buy is an innovative way of making it possible for you to purchase your dream home in today’s difficult property climate.

Many prospective buyers today face the impossible task of trying to acquire a sufficient deposit to satisfy the mortgage criteria set by the banks while at the same time paying rent.

The Rent2Buy scheme is designed so that you can live in your dream home while taking the time to acquire the necessary deposit, a portion of the rent, sometimes up to 100%, is credited towards the purchase price.

The Rent2Buy scheme is really simple and will work for you in the following way:

Step One – The House

Decide on type of house and development you are interested in, we will approach the developer and add them to our list of developers to approach.  We may also have the developer already agreed on rent2buy so please check with us. It may also be possible that we may have a similar type house already signed up to the scheme. Step Two – The Agreement

The Rent2Buy scheme operates through a Lease Option Agreement, whereby you agree to rent the property for a specified period with an option to purchase at a pre-agreed price. A deposit of €2995 (+ 21% VAT)is all that is needed to go ahead with rent2buy once the agreement is in place.

Step Three – The Purchase

At the agreed Purchase Date you have the option of proceeding with the purchase of the house at the pre-agreed price. The initial deposit and rental credit will be applied against the purchase price.

You are not obliged to proceed with the purchase but you will forfeit your initial deposit in this scenario. The owner is obliged to sell the house to you at the pre-agreed price.
